NexaAtlas privacy policy
Learn what data may be processed when you use NexaAtlas and how we protect your privacy.
1. Data controller
The controller for data related to NexaAtlas is BOMEGA sp. z o.o., ul. Długa 2B, 56-416 Twardogóra, Poland, KRS 0000841054, NIP 9112034523, REGON 386056613. Privacy contact: [email protected].
For questions about your personal data, please contact us at the email address above.
2. Data we may process
NexaAtlas currently requires no user account, payment or newsletter. During an ordinary connection, Internet infrastructure may process technical connection data such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser type and information necessary to operate and secure the service.
Search queries are sent to the application. Do not enter personal or sensitive information into search unless it is necessary for using the atlas.
3. Private find notebook
The find notebook stores user-entered records locally in IndexedDB in this browser, including the selected point, notes, measurements and find description.
The exact private find geometry is not sent to the API by radius analysis or the local report. Notebook entries are not automatically uploaded to an account or server.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Technical data may be processed to deliver and secure the service, diagnose failures and establish or defend legal claims on the basis of the controller's legitimate interests. Data voluntarily provided in correspondence is processed to handle the message, request or complaint and, where applicable, to meet legal obligations.
5. Cookies, analytics and profiling
The NexaAtlas website does not use advertising trackers, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or marketing profiling. It does not use user accounts to track activity.
The local notebook uses IndexedDB rather than advertising cookies. If future functionality requires consent, this policy will be updated and any legally required consent will be obtained before use.
6. Recipients and public sources
Technical data may be available to infrastructure, hosting and technical support providers only to the extent needed to operate and secure the service. Public atlas layers originate from identified data sources and remain subject to their own licences and publication rules.
The private notebook does not send the exact private point to those public data providers.
7. Retention
IndexedDB data remains on the device until the user deletes it or clears site data in the browser. Correspondence and necessary technical data are kept only as long as needed for handling, security, legal obligations or claims.
8. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, data subjects may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent where consent is the legal basis. A complaint may also be lodged with the competent supervisory authority, including the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office.
9. Contact and policy changes
Privacy requests can be sent to [email protected] or to the controller's registered address. This policy may be updated when NexaAtlas functionality, technology, providers or applicable law changes.
