Terms of use
NexaAtlas terms of use
Read the rules for using maps, information and tools available in NexaAtlas.
1. Service provider
NexaAtlas is operated by BOMEGA sp. z o.o., ul. Długa 2B, 56-416 Twardogóra, Poland, KRS 0000841054, NIP 9112034523, REGON 386056613. Email: [email protected].
These terms govern use of the public NexaAtlas website.
2. Nature of the service
NexaAtlas is a free informational and exploration tool combining maps, places, administrative, geological, mining, historical and heritage context with data provenance.
You do not need an account or subscription to use NexaAtlas.
3. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and with respect for third-party rights. Do not disrupt the platform, bypass security controls, attempt to access non-public data or use NexaAtlas for unlawful activity.
An Internet-connected device and a current JavaScript-enabled browser are required. The local notebook also requires browser IndexedDB storage.
4. Data, sources and uncertainty
NexaAtlas presents its own materials and third-party datasets subject to their sources, licences and restrictions. Data may be incomplete, delayed, historical or spatially imprecise.
Map proximity, ranking, correlation or reconstruction is not automatically evidence of origin, ownership, causation or object identification.
5. Private notebook
The notebook is a local browser feature. Users are responsible for their own entries and for making a copy if they need to preserve them outside that browser. Clearing site data or the browser profile may delete the notebook.
6. Not a substitute for official advice
NexaAtlas does not replace official registers, survey maps, legal documentation, geological opinions, safety instructions, navigation or permits for field or archaeological work.
Before making legal, investment, fieldwork or safety decisions, verify the relevant information in the competent official source and follow applicable law.
7. Intellectual property and licences
Rights in the service, code, layout and original materials belong to the service provider or the relevant rights holders. Source datasets and materials may be subject to separate licences, attribution duties and publication restrictions shown by NexaAtlas or the source provider.
These terms do not grant rights to third-party materials beyond their licences and applicable law.
8. Availability and changes
The provider takes reasonable steps to keep the service operational, but outages may occur because of failures, security work, updates or external factors. Features, data scope and availability may change.
9. Contact and complaints
Feedback, reports and complaints may be sent to [email protected] or to the provider's registered address. A report should ideally include the affected page or feature, a description and the time of the issue.
The provider handles complaints without undue delay and normally no later than 14 calendar days after receipt.
10. Final provisions
The Polish version is the governing version of these terms. The English version is provided for information. Polish law applies subject to any mandatory consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Terms may be updated when the service, law, technology or delivery model changes. The current version is published in NexaAtlas.
